Join the team
Welcome to the Practice Plus Group MSK Buckinghamshire and Practice Plus Group Diagnostics, Buckinghamshire
The primary focus here is to deliver timely, high quality, evidence based assessment and treatment of patients referred by their GP or consultant. Our team consists of radiographers, sonographers, Consultants, MSK GPs, Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners and a Senior Physiotherapy team, as well as a specialist women’s health team and an osteopath. We have excellent Clinical Lead and mentoring support throughout the service. We deliver our services from 8 locations, with excellent clinical facilities, including purpose built gym areas and smaller community locations, which mean staff get to choose where they are based. There is no on-call or compulsory weekend work, but if it suits your work life balance then weekend and evening work is supported as well as part time / flexible hours. We have invested in state of the art equipment to ensure that we can deliver the best possible imaging for our patients and referrers.
We pride ourselves on our structured IST programme and clinical meetings, which allow for shared learning, peer review and clear career pathways. The physiotherapy department work closely with the diagnostics clinicians, which improves patient care and has also enabled staff to develop, for example physiotherapists have been trained in MSK ultrasound reporting and injection therapy. We are also training our radiographers in MRI and X-ray reporting, supported by Radiologists based in our Hospitals.
We are really proud of the support we were able to offer during the COVID pandemic; we continued to run a diagnostic imaging service enabling patients to be cared for by their GPs and reducing demand on A and E departments. 5 of our Physiotherapists also worked in the local trust Minor Injuries Unit, enabling the Trust team to support in-patients wards. This is something we are really proud of and demonstrates the care that we are so proud of offering to patients.
At Practice Plus Group we take pride in our people and ensure that they have the skills and support to deliver exceptional patient care. A career with us means all of the following and more…
Opportunity: Our impressive range of services is great news for your career, as you can move and progress across our services and specialties.
