Michelle qualified as a Physiotherapist more than 10 years ago and has been working clinically in the musculoskeletal speciality and in management within Buckinghamshire during this time. Harry qualified as a Physiotherapist in Greece 2004. Upon qualifying he worked as a Musculoskeletal Sports Physiotherapist in private practices and football clubs.

In 2006 Harry moved to the UK and successfully completed his MSc in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2008. For the next two years, he developed specialist expertise in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions working in various NHS Hospitals.

Harry joined Care UK in 2010 as an Extended Scope Practitioner (ESP) helping to establish a new Musculoskeletal Service in Lincolnshire. In 2012 Harry transferred to the Buckinghamshire Musculoskeletal Integrated Care Service (MusIC) as an ESP, whilst also working in a private practice in London as a Spinal Specialist treating solely neck and lower back patients.

In December 2014, Harry stepped up to become the Clinical Lead for the MusIC service, and in June 2017 he became the Clinical Director of the service as a Consultant Physiotherapist. He takes a lead role in the on-going development of the MusIC service utilising highly specialised, evidence based clinical skills to ensure that patient pathways are evidence based, efficient and effective. With additional training in ultrasound imaging and injection therapy he works very closely with our Regional Medical Director delivering injection clinics (including ultrasound guided) and attends multidisciplinary meetings in secondary care in the areas of Pain, Orthopaedics and Rheumatology.

Jacqui has been a chartered physiotherapist for over 20 years. She has gained most experience in orthopaedics and trauma and sports injuries. More recently she has worked in primary care musculoskeletal and ICATs services. Jacqui treats patients with evidence based treatment techniques and strongly favours exercise therapy and posture correction which she believes are the basic foundation of physiotherapy. She is keen to teach patients about their bodies and their conditions so that they can work towards a self management programme and a healthier lifestyle. Jacqui is trained in the use of acupuncture which she has been using for pain relief for the past 10 years.

Annabel has been a chartered Physiotherapist since 2004. She is currently the Team Lead for Chesham Physiotherapy Department, as well as the Infection Protection and Control Lead for the Service. She is studying for a Masters degree in Advanced Physiotherapy and has previously worked in a variety of settings, including acute trauma and amputee rehabilitation. More recently she has focussed her skills on outpatient musculoskeletal pathologies. She has a keen interest in Pilates and aims to encourage patients to become more aware of their posture throughout their daily activities. Her ethos is one of promoting self-management through education and exercise therapy. Annabel is also trained in the use of acupuncture and is a member of the acupuncture association.

Karen has been a Chartered Physiotherapist for more than 20 years. She is currently the Team Lead at the Marlow site, treating musculoskeletal patients. Karen also works as an Extended Scope Practitioner within the Service assessing and treating more complex presentations. She has gained most of her experience treating patients in primary care, private settings and advanced musculoskeletal Services. She has a special interest in assessing and treating patient who have pain in their back and upper limb. Karen believes in trying to empower patients to self-manage their pain and give them the confidence to help with this through evidence based treatments and exercise.

Tracy has been a Physiotherapist for more than 10 years. She is currently the Team Lead for Brookside and supports two of the other Leads in the North of the County. Tracy started her career with a degree in Sports Science and Biology but was keen to do Physiotherapy as I had a real interest in exercise and rehabilitation and the effects it could have on health and wellbeing. After gaining an MSC in Rehabilitation Science at Glasgow Caledonian Tracy’s initial Physiotherapy career involved working in some of the larger London teaching hospitals where she gained a wealth of experience across a variety of Physiotherapy specialities especially in Orthopaedics, trauma and managing musculoskeletal conditions. Tracy has worked in Buckinghamshire since 2006 and continues to develop an interest in rehabilitation, especially in conditions of the lower limbs. Tracy believes Physiotherapy can help people improve their well being through exercise, manual therapy, advice and self management. Tracy also works as an Extended Scope Practitioner within the Service assessing and treating more complex presentations.

Dan has been a chartered Physiotherapist since 2004 and is currently the Team Lead for Buckingham Physiotherapy Department. He has gained valuable experience covering a diverse area of care including neurology, respiratory and sports injuries (including pitch side cover for the England women’s rugby team). Since 2005, Dan has specialised in musculoskeletal conditions. He is trained in McKenzie therapy, which is an approach that is trusted and used by clinicians all over the world for common back, neck and extremity joint problems. He is also trained in acupuncture as part of the holistic management of Musculoskeletal conditions. Dan is a keen cyclist and amateur racer. He promotes self- management, exercising and living healthier lifestyles.

Verity studied at the University of Southampton and qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2008. After graduating, she spent five years working at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals covering all areas of physiotherapy including elderly, respiratory, neurology, community and musculoskeletal care. This varied foundation allowed her to develop a wealth of skills whilst treating patients and gave her the experience to confidently choose what she wanted to specialise in. She decided to specialise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and covered various areas including rheumatology, hand therapy and orthopaedics. Verity has been with the service since 2013 and led the team at Chalfont since 2016. She has a special interest in the management and treatment of hand problems. This has led to the setting up of the hand therapy service, which runs across three sites. Verity has also been trained to offer injections for the treatment of hand pathologies.

Qualifications: BPhT , MSc Orthopaedics and Manual Therapy (UniSA, Adelaide)

Rajeev qualified as a physiotherapist from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, India in 1999. He then gained a Masters degree in Orthopaedics and Manual Therapy in 2001 from University of South Australia in Adelaide. He has worked as a physiotherapist in various outpatient and inpatient settings including orthopaedics, neurology, paediatric and cardiopulmonary medicine before moving to England in 2003. Since then he has worked entirely in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He is currently the Team Lead for the outpatient physiotherapy department at Thame Community Hospital. Rajeev has also been working as an Extended Scope Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal CATS clinic for the last 5 years. He has done Masters modules in Injection Therapy and Extended Scope Practice from Coventry University and is qualified to do joint and soft tissue injections. He has also done a Post graduate Certificate in Non Medical Prescribing from Oxford Brookes University and is a qualified supplementary prescriber. He is also trained in the use of acupuncture for musculoskeletal conditions. Apart from this he is very keen on evidence based practice and believes in use of exercise in the rehabilitation of his patients and promoting self-management.
